Important: These pages describe how the HSE Speech & Debate site is intended to operate. They are not legal advice and do not replace Hamilton Southeastern Schools or district policies, notices, consent requirements, records schedules, or official instructions. If a conflict exists, the applicable school or district requirement controls.
This is a school-club information site
This site supports Hamilton Southeastern High School Speech & Debate communications, public team information, and a registration workflow. It is maintained for team operations and is not a replacement for the school’s official website, district communications, student handbook, or required school forms.
Registration is a request for review
Submitting the public registration form does not by itself guarantee team membership, event placement, tournament entry, travel approval, a fee waiver, or participation in a particular activity. Staff review the submission and may request follow-up information. School, district, league, and tournament requirements remain controlling.
Not for emergencies or medical advice
Do not use this site or registration form to report an emergency, request immediate medical help, or replace a medical professional’s advice. For an emergency, call 911 and use the school’s normal emergency and health channels. The form helps authorized staff prepare for team activities; it is not an emergency-response system.
Public photos and published copy
Public pages can be viewed by anyone on the internet. Staff should publish only school-approved text and photos and should not place student contact details, medical information, registration records, or other private information in public site content. A media-release choice in the registration form does not automatically authorize every possible use; the school’s applicable authorization and media practices control.
Third-party resources
The Resources page links to SpeechWire, YouTube, NSDA Campus, Yaatly, and other independent services. Those services may change, require separate accounts, use their own cookies or data practices, or become unavailable. HSE Speech & Debate does not control and does not warrant third-party content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Review each service’s own terms and privacy information before using it.
Staff-edited content
Approved Speech & Debate staff can update selected homepage words and images from the staff console. Changes may become visible after saving. Staff are responsible for confirming accuracy, accessibility descriptions, and appropriate permission for public display. Questions or corrections can be sent through the team contact page.

Contact the team through the team contact page. Requests concerning official student records should also be directed to the appropriate Hamilton Southeastern Schools or district office.
